The Brindisa Ibérico Bellota Hams are cured by artisan ham makers Castro y Gonzalez for 3-4 years prior to slicing.
The Ibérico pig - native to Spain and Portugal - is very a special breed and quite distinct from the standard European pigs.
These Hams will be a great add to any summer lunch or picnic basket as well as also making a great present to bring to your host.
The Ibérico pigs reared for our hams are free to range amongst the oak groves of the Spanish, the ""dehesa"". Their diet of acorns - ""bellotas"" - is an essential part of the amazing flavour and texture of this ham.
Our company name comes from the word ‘brindis’, to raise one’s glass in a toast, and our work over the past 30 years has been to toast and celebrate the varied cultures, landscapes and, above all the exceptional foods of Spain.
